Mar 31, 2003 Dear Clanspeople, I will be taking another group to Ireland. Departing from the US June 25, 2003 for 2 weeks in the Emerald Isle. I have provided several days for digging up Irish Roots.
If any members of Clan Cian would like to join the group, they can email me at Genealogy Contact Form. If anyone is interested in doing genealogy, the sooner they contact me, the better I will be able to help them.

Jan 10, 2003 To the Clan Cian and Website Visitors, Be on the Alert for Email messages for the W-3 Klez Virus
Normally the message begins with the following type opening. This message has been processed by Brightmail (TM) anti virus using Symantecs Norton Anti Virus Technology Always accompanied with an Attachment you should scan it for the Klez Virus. And do not open the Attachment. I have found and had it confirmed by our servers virus protection that these messages have the virus. Slainte, Gracy and Eile O'Carroll Actually it is recommended that you never open any attachment in your email without some sort of confirmation from a phone call or snail mail from a trusted source. On Outlook Express from the drop down menu choose 'Tools' then select 'Options' then the 'Security' tab on it. Make sure you have a check mark in the box where it says "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." This way mistakes happen less often. You can always uncheck it anytime you wish to open an attachment from a trusted person.
I also recommend a personal fire wall along with any anti-virus software you already have running. One example of such personal security for your computer is a software that you can get for free called ZoneAlarm®. I use this myself and it stops most unwanted tampering with your computer.
